Being Absent Without Leave or AWOL is a serious offence that can put an end to a Soldier's career and as a supervisor it
is extremely important that you know the regulations so that all of the proper steps are taken and all the required documents
are completed. A letter is sent to the Soldier's next of kin on the 10th day of absence without leave, this letter will usually be
